It is very subtle to evaluate people from the way they treat their

pets. We need to understand people before we make friends with them. Most people want to have a long-term friendship, so they should know how to choose friends to keep their friendship intact. Some people are only suitable for us to have a shallow friendship, we don't let them know much about us or need to know them well. Some people are only suitable to be business partners, and the relationship must be square.

Partnership, loyalty, gratitude, and choosing trustworthy business partners

PARTNERSHIP

The assistant asked his director:
"Sir, the contract seems to be favorable; why do you have to delay signing it? They invited us to their house, which proves that they want to establish a long-term partnership with us. Besides, all the terms in the contract are very reasonable. They're very compromising."

The director shook his head and said:
"We can't make friends with this guy. He acts honest in the beginning to trap us later on."
"But the terms are very strict, how can they cheat?"

"If the terms are not strict, you think they can fool us? This guy has some tricks that we haven't figured out yet. If we do business with him, we're done, sooner or later."

"Do you think you are a bit over suspicious, Sir? You said there's no worry about the contract, but why do you still suppose he'll cheat us?"
"Because I didn't look at the contract as you did. I looked at his dogs."

The assistant looked even more confused:
"How do the dogs relate to the contract, Sir?"

"There's indeed a close relation. Did you see him pampering all his five dogs? I thought he loved dogs so I felt happy. I asked him why he raised so many dogs. He explained that he would kill them for meat at the end of the year. I was stunned. His loving behaviors were only an act. He can easily kill a being that he once treated with "kindness". How could we do business with such a person?"

The assistant looked thoughtful, saying nothing. The director continued:
"Money is precious in life, but gratitude makes people more valuable. To me, if unfortunately I have a serious conflict with someone who used to support me, I will by all means never offend them. I believe that we must have a certain respect for those who used to love us, or those we used to love. That guy doesn't mind killing the dogs which he usually pampers. His moral psychology must have problems! I was terrified when he mentioned killing the dogs while still pampering them. That kind of person can simply turn his back to us no matter how sweetly he used to treat us. This contract will not yield something good because he has already hatched a plot to cheat us."

Why can dogs become the best friend of humans? The answer lies in their great loyalty. Loyalty is an instinct of dogs. Before being a dog, they might not have been loyal; but in the life of a dog, loyalty is their nature. Humans are smart to choose such a loyal species to be our friends. In contrast, humans tend to betray friends. We want others to be loyal to us, but on our part, we are disloyal. We do not judge if that thinking is smart or stupid, but it is apparent that no one wants to be friends with that kind of disloyal person.

Some rich people choose other species as pets such as pythons, lions, iguanas, eagles, bears, etc. Lions can be grateful and loyal if they are raised with love from their early years. Other species easily betray because of their wild instinct. Bears can suddenly slap their owner to death when they are angry. Tigers can kill their owner if they are annoyed. Pythons can eat kids at home. Dogs are safer for their owners. The rate of the disloyal dogs is utterly low.

It is very subtle to evaluate people from the way they treat their pets.

Only a few people can be our soulmates whom we are willing to suffer a loss to help. They are also willing to support us wholeheartedly. This kind of person prefers love and gratitude to money. These people are very rare in life. Only when moral standards in society improve could the number of these kind people increase.

Some people might ask what if they do not kill home dogs but only eat dogs at restaurants. But do you know if the dog you ate was sold by his master or by a dog kidnapper?

Do you know how much the dog loves his master, how much he misses his master when being taken away?

Do you know how much the dog was loved by his master and how well he did his job as a guard at his master's house?

Do you know how sad the family felt when they lost the dog?

The dog that you consider a fleeting joyful meal was indeed a precious life for someone, or a loving member of a family.

Do you know where the dog comes from and where it goes to when it dies?

Do you know where you are going after death?
