Morality is the foundation for the existence of society. Moral people are able to make long-lasting connections with one another. With morality, people are able to trust each other. With trust, their minds can be at peace to live, study, strive, dream, and work on oneself. With trust, they are able to cooperate to build a better life.
Without morality, people make each other miserable. Without morality, people are hesitant to cooperate with one another to build a better life. Society will then be ruined.
There are two opposite tendencies inside each human being: Good and Evil. Good tendencies make you want to love mankind, animals, and all beings to be happy. Evil tendencies are the opposite, they make you selfish and ignorant of others' pains.
People are born with Good and Bad tendencies from previous lives. In this life, these tendencies can change due to the surrounding environment and education. With favorable conditions, Good tendencies can thrive. Some are unlucky to be placed in a negative environment where evil traits can thrive. They then become unethical people who get in trouble with the law.
All of us are responsible for working on our moral qualities, so that our existence can bring joy, peace of mind, and safety to our community. If we do not work on our moral qualities, we will become a burden, a threat, and a danger to our community.
