  The audience applauded thunderously...

The representative continued:

• In addition, during this epidemic year, we made a significant achievement. That is, we reduced 100,000 poor households. More than 100,000 families were no longer in deprivation. To reduce poverty of 100,000 households, we had to lose three USD billionaires. This is the natural principle of economics.

We should not measure the success of an economy by the increase in number of billionaires, but by the decrease in number of poor people. To become rich, we must be very talented, and also very lucky. But it also means we attract more wealth to ourselves. The poor and unsuccessful, on the other hand, may be unlucky, or not talented, so their assets go elsewhere.

The Law protects private property rights, protects the legitimate rights to getting rich, but the conscience of society is very worried when the number of poor people also increases with the Billionaires Index.
