WHAT IS BLOOD PRESURE
WHAT IS BLOOD PRESURE

High blood pressure is a prevalent disease as people get older. It is considered a chronic disease but can cause sudden death. People have a vast and professional knowledge of high blood pressure. You can amateurishly find it out through the Internet and medical books or consult a doctor.

The basic concept is BLOOD PRESSURE. It is the force exerted on the arteries as the heart contracts to pump blood around the body. Blood carries substances to supply organs and cells and takes back waste for treatment. More important, it carries oxygen and takes back carbon dioxide. The brain will immediately fail if it lacks oxygen for a few minutes.

The force from the heart’s contraction exerted on the arteries is called blood pressure. It is between 100 and 120 mmHg at the maximum and between 70 and 80 mmHg at the minimum. Maximum and minimum blood pressures need further explanations. If the maximum blood pressure need further explanations. If the maximum blood pressure is higher than 120mmHg, we begin to develop HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (Hypertension).

Low blood pressure means your heart’s contraction is weak. You have poor health and get fatigued easily. And since the brain is not supplied with enough blood, it functions poorly. To cure low blood pressure, you must make the heart muscle strong. We will discuss it later.

High blood pressure has many negative effects on the body. When the blood pressure in cerebral vessels rises, neurons will work unnecessarily hard. When the blood pressure in other organs such as the liver and kidneys rises, these organs will work unnecessarily hard. And when the body works unnecessarily hard, it will soon suffer from fratigue and sudden collapse.
