Scientists cannot see the root but the surface,
that's why they often advise people to choose a shortcut. Many stout people look healthy but easily die of diseases. Those who often plant trees wherever they can (on their land or others') or buy fish and release them into a river, will naturally have good health and a long life. They are wise to choose a detour. We may need a shortcut, but it won't fix the root.

HEALTH
Weak people (are advised to) take vitamins, do physical exercise, eat nutritious food to have good health. In the past, Kings did them and often reached the age between 40 and 50. Kings were never short of vitamins or food and had their health taken care of by well-known physicians. They had dozens of dishes for a meal. They often did physical exercise and were excellent in martial arts. But why couldn't they live a long life? It was because they chose a shortcut.
What should we do when we take a detour? - Plant trees, set animals free, build roads/bridges, and fix damaged roads/bridges. Planting trees, you will have good health and a long life; setting animals free, and your life expectancy will increase; building roads/ bridges, you will have physical strength. The shortcut of taking vitamins, eating nutritious food, and doing physical exercise is not the root of good health.
